How does salt water effect my hair or skin?
Epsom salt is different from sea salt. Epsom salt solution has a silky feeling on the skin and is beneficial to the skin and hair. However, you should rinse all salt from your hair and skin after floating.

Can I float if I'm pregnant?
Definitely! It’s like placing a womb within a womb. Floating helps to relieve the aches and pains that come with pregnancy. If you are in your first trimester or have any concerns, please consult your physician before coming in.
Can I Drown?
No. Not unless you lay face down in it, and are capable of tolerating the sting of the salt on the eyes, nose and mouth. Its Very difficult to roll over face down in a tank even if you wanted to.
Can I float if I'm having my period?
We’d recommend waiting till after your period is over. You’ll feel more at ease if you don’t have to worry about leaks! That said, if you are comfortable and not experiencing heavy flow, you may use a tampon while floating.
Is the water clean?
The water is fully filtered 3 times for at least 15 minutes between each float, passing through a hot tub caliber filter, a UV light disinfection system and chemical disinfection system. The Epsom salts dissolved in the water also act as a natural disinfectant; creating a sterile environment where bacteria cannot live in.
What if I'm claustrophobic?
You are in control of the situation and can get in and out whenever you want. You should use it in the way it’s comfortable for you. You can use the tank with the door open if you wish. And you can leave the lights on inside the tank as well.
Is there enough air in the tank?
Yes. The tank is designed not to be airtight, so there is a plentiful air supply. In addition, fresh air is brought in by an air circulation system.
What do I wear in the tank?
Since it is a private experience, you don’t wear anything. Anything you wear will press against your body, becoming a distraction. Imagine it as similar to getting into your bathtub. It is also meant to keep our solution from coming into any contact with chemicals that may be present on your clothing.
